This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official record. Contact the agency that holds the record.

Find the Right Record Holder

County booking questions and requests for an existing booking sheet or prisoner photograph begin with the Colbert County Sheriff's Office. The office does not publish a dedicated records email, fixed photo fee, or guaranteed response time. Give the full name, approximate arrest or booking date, booking number when known, and arresting agency. Ask separately for the intake sheet and photograph, then request a cost estimate before processing.

Use the route that matches the custody stage and the agency involved:

  • For a county booking photo, roster entry, release view, or records request, start with the Colbert County records hub and then contact the sheriff.
  • For a possible active warrant or a sheriff wanted listing, follow the official and court paths on Wanted Fugitives.
  • For a Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, or Tuscumbia arrest, check that city's page because municipal jails do not share one complete roster.
  • For the result of a charge, contact the Colbert County Circuit Clerk or use Alabama's official trial-court access service.
  • For a person serving an Alabama prison sentence, use the Alabama Department of Corrections inmate search or its public-record request route.
  • For federal prison custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator; for immigration detention, use the ICE detainee locator.

Do not send Social Security numbers, banking details, medical data, or other sensitive information through ordinary email. The sheriff's public contact form is not a secure or continuously monitored emergency channel. Call 911 for an emergency.
